Greek Goddess Artemis was the daughter of Zeus and sister to Apollo, and considered a protectress during childbirth. The Ephesian Artemis is often refered to as The Great Mother Goddess and is also mentioned in the New Testament. In this pendant, Artemis is depicted as she was in the Temple of Ephesus, as a symbol of fertility. Handcrafted in solid sterling silver.
