Sterling Silver Celtic Sword Triangle Pendant
Sterling Silver Celtic Sword Triangle Pendant
Handcrafted, hand-polished, solid sterling silver
Handcrafted in solid sterling silver, this Celtic pendant features and upside down trinity (triquetra), with Celtic knots surrounding a sword. In Celtic folklore, the sword is associated with Nuada, the first king of Tuatha De Denann. Nuada's great sword is actually one of the 4 Celtic treasures (the others being stone, spear, & cauldron). The upside down triangle is a feminine symbol, and the trinity itself is an aspect of feminine energy (mother, maiden, crone). In alchemy, the inverted triangle is the symbol for water, which is very much in line with Nuada, who was associated with the supernatural forces of the underwater realm! I will stop there, and let the wearer conclude the rest.
I have included a photograph of the pendant next to a quarter for size reference. Pair this pendant with a necklace or chain and find your inner renegade.
