Solid Sterling Silver (.925) Celtic Shield Knot Pendant

This is a magnificent work of art, if I do say so myself. I like to call this the Celtic big hot mess of knots pendant, or a shield knot amulet. The shield knot, or quaternary knot, has 4 distinct quadrants, and is an ancient symbol used for thousands of years for protection and warding. Each quadrant represents the 4 corners of the earth (in Mesopotamian culture).

I have included a photograph of the pendant next to a quarter for size reference. Yes, it's a real quarter (same size as today), but I find the classical designs a bit more interesting than the modern day spaghetti hair Washington :) Pair this pendant with a necklace or chain and find your inner renegade.
