While the upright pentacle is most commonly used by modern witches, the inverted pentacle is still used in the Gardnerian tradition of Wicca to represent a Second Degree Initiation. While the inverted pentacle usually represents the domination of matter over spirit, the Church of Satan began using the image of Baphomet (horned goat) with an inverted pentagram enclosed in a circle around it. This richly detailed pendant has what appears to be twigs and branches that comprise the symbol. Handcrafted in solid sterling silver, this unique pentacle would make a great tool (I bare no responsibility for the spells you cast with this!) or gift for those lovers of darker magic.
