Sterling Silver Cast Your Cimaruta Witch Pendant
Sterling Silver Cast Your Cimaruta Witch Pendant
Handcrafted Solid 925 Sterling Silver Cimaruta Pendant, Italian Charm
Established in the lore of the Old Religion of Italy, the cimaruta is an Italian folk amulet worn around the neck or hung above an infant's bed to ward off the evil eye. It is fashioned after the sprig of a rue, which is an herb featured in Italian magic and legend. The branch of the rue is partitioned into three stems symbolizing the tripe form of Goddess, Diana. Various charms appear on the rue including the moon, serpent, and key. These represent the Goddess in her triple form as Hecate (key), Diana (the moon) and Proserpina (the serpent). This meticulously detailed pendant is crafted in solid sterling silver and will carry on the tradition for further generations.
I have included a photograph of the pendant next to a quarter for size reference. Pair this pendant with one of our sterling silver chains and show your inner renegade!
