The Wiccan triple moon symbol has three aspects. The waxing (Maiden), full (Mother), and waning (Crone) moon, which are aligned with the stages of the moon's cycle as it orbits Earth. A goddess symbol, it also represents the 3 stages of a woman's life cycle. The pentacle in the middle represents earth, air, fire, water, and spirit.
