Sterling Silver 5th Element Pentacle Pendant
Sterling Silver 5th Element Pentacle Pendant
This unique double-sided pendant features a pentagram, whose points reach the outer perimeter of the amulet, with the classic Celtic 5 fold design interlaced around the pentacle. To the Celts, the 4 basic elements in the 5-fold symbol almost always represent either the four elements, four directions, or four seasons. The mystical 5th element (the circle in the center of the outer 4 circles) could represent "center" in the 4 directions, "aether" in the 4 elements, or "transit" in the 4 seasons. Of course, the pentagram also has 5 points, and originally represented the 5 wounds of Christ, although Christianity later rejected the pentagram as being associated with the "devil". Of course, the pentacle is widely used in witchcraft today, and is seen as a symbol of femininity, with the circle around the pentacle representing the Goddess, and provides wisdom and protection to the wearer.
I have included a photograph of the pendant next to a quarter for size reference. YPair this pendant with a necklace or chain and show your inner renegade.
