This beautiful pendant features the om/aum symbol over inlaid mother of pearl or abalone shell. Mother of pearl is a natural stone that comes from the shells of oysters. It is believed to reduce stress and provide comfort, and also used to ease indigestion. Abalone shell comes naturally from sea shells. It is used to protect bones and joints and is used to ease arthritis. Handcrafted in solid sterling silver, either pendant would make an excellent addition to your wardrobe or altar.
