The cimaruta is an extremely old charm originating from the old region of Italy to ward off the evil eye. Fashioned after a sprig of rue, the three stems representing the triple Goddess, Diana. Various charms hang on the cimaruta, primarily the moon, serpent, and key. These symbols represent the Goddess in her three forms: Hecate (the key), Diana (the moon) and Proserpina (the serpent). This magickal cimaruta pendant features a Celtic trinity knot at it's center, accented with 14k gold.
