Anu is the Mother Goddess of the Celtic culture, and represents the everflowing currents of the Earth. The 9th century Sanas Cormaic (Cormac's Glossary) has an entry for Anu, which reads: "Ana, mother of the Gods of Ireland; well did she feed the Gods". A similar figure in Britain was referred to as "Gentle Annie". This beautiful interpretation of Anu features a natural green agate gemstone, and was handcrafted in solid sterling silver.
