This fabulous Celtic knot tree of life pendant is handcrafted in solid sterling silver. "Yggdrasil" is an immense tree that connects the nine worlds in Norse mythology. This Celtic version of the tree of life has the branches reaching skyward and the roots spreading out into the earth below, which represents the the Druid belief in the link between heaven and earth. In clearing land to build a new settlement, the ancient Celts would always leave a tree standing in the center. In this unique design, the tree itself is the focal point, as all other elements have been carved away!
