The famous Dragon of Birka is so named because of the 1887 discovery of a casting mould depicting a dragonhead found in the ruins of Birka. More recent excavations have yielded a dress pin that can, 150 years later, be directly linked to this mould. This pendant captures the Dragon of Birka brilliantly. Handcrafted in solid sterling silver, this pendant would make an awesome keepsake.
